I saved a cat: killed sixty birds
and like about two hundred mice.
I so much pity mice, it’s weird:
they are like frightened cutie-pies.
I saved a cat, I shreddered cows
and lambs, and tuna fish and such
I didn’t hear their sighs, their ows
they turned to tinned food, costs not much.
I saved a cat: gotta admit
he came to be a real friend.
He is my equal, won’t submit,
he’s walking tall, a king unbent.
I fed my face, I killed a legion
of beings worthy just like me.
I emptied not only my region
but all the country is beast-free.
I made nature a pet
I made life dead
